Rumour Mill.
No one talks about it, yet everyone knows where it is. It was a wonder why the old fishing lodge hadn't been taken down ages ago, but a relief that it still held up, despite the mass of rumours that had been posted; so many that sections of the walls seemed, from a distance, almost black with Sharpie pen ink. Some people managed to get the roof as well, though there were no markings on the floor. Perhaps that was because of the generations of shoes scuffing them away.
Not like it really mattered. Licander wasn't here to observe the rumours. To be honest, there wasn't really any reason for him to be here on this cold evening. He just didn't like being in the school when he needed to be. He just heard word of a small party going to be held here on the weekend, and since he hadn't been in "Rumour Mill" before, he decided to investigate it.
Closing the door behind him and blocking out the wind, Licander stepped into the shadowy lodge. A puff of dust engulfed his shoes as his shoes made contact with the wooden floor. He gave the dust on his shoes a disdainful look, shook most of it off, and made a mental note to clean his shoes when he got back to his dorm.
A shaft of purple evening light filtered through the dirty picture window overlooking the lake. If the window wasn't so hard to see through, it might have been a beautiful view. Licander regarded the dust in the air with an almost disgusted look. Why would someone want to have a party in such a filthy place?
His yellow eyes passed over the writings on the walls. He didn't see how people could gain such satisfaction from spreading lies on the walls of an old shack. Teenagers were so simple these days. However, his eyes rested on his own name beside the window. Stepping closer, he read what it said:
Licander Shade is a jerk
hottiee ♥
Fag KILLER!!
Frowning at this, Licander pulled out a small dagger from his waist and started to lightly scratch out the last word written there. He doubted anyone took anything written here seriously, but it's better to be safe than sorry.

Vincent had taken his cat form and wandered around the forest until he came upon Rumor Mill. his eyes turned a startling purple when he came to the door that was much larger then his small gray cat body. he quickly looked around the building for another way in when he found a loose panel near a dusty window. he found it a tight fit, but somehow made it in. he looked with deep green worried eyes at all the writing on the walls and somehow the ceiling. his tail swayed in the air calmly before smelling a familiar person in the room. he looked to see Licander scratching something written on the wall. he quirked his head to the side before sitting on the ground below the window and started meowing. his eyes where big blue orbs looking happily at his room mate. " I wonder what he's doing here? he's not even stretching out his animal form. this is odd...." his thoughts wondered in his mind. his ears twitched as he sneezed from the dust coming up from benith his kneeding paws. he still looked up and meowed with a sneeze every so often until he got Licander's attention.

After an annoying day of being brutally thrashed in Defense and Control class, Raiko Tenka was off doing what he always did when he lost a fight: practicing like hell out in the woods somewhere. On this particular chilly evening, 'somewhere' was the key word. Somehow, in all his running through trees, on trees, and around trees, while shooting trees with his bow, he found himself now in an almost alien situation to him. He was completely lost.
"Damn it, how the hell did this happen?!"he exclaimed, punching a tree. This was quickly followed by some Japanese cursing, as he found out that punching a tree was probably the the stupidest thing he'd ever done. Once he cooled down, he slumped down against a tree and rested, thinking what he could do to get back. After a little over an hour, he peaked around the tree, and saw a grey cat. 'Finally,' he thought, 'My ticket home.' The cat he saw was far to well groomed to live in the wild. It was sure to go home eventually.
As quietly as possible, he got to his feet. He planned to stalk this cat back to civilization. He kept in mind that this was a cat, and therefore had an incredible sense of smell and hearing. After the cat was a good 60-100 feet away, Raiko climbed the tree he'd been resting on, and found a good spot in the branches. He was down wind of the cat, so he was sure the cat couldn't have smelled him. Once the cat was barely visible, Raiko quietly slid to the next tree. Then the next.
Continuing this for a while, he eventually reached a familiar land. It was a good thing to, because he had also run out of trees. The lake in front of him was the give away. He was on Anslema grounds now; he'd seen this lake a million times walking around school campus. He was about to just forget about the cat and head straight to his dorm, but then he noticed the old fishing lodge. It was strange, he'd never noticed it before, but now it looked like something no one could easily miss.
Curious now, Raiko looked to the cat, which was crawling into the building through a loose panel. Climbing down from the tree he was in, Raiko walked over to a window in the fishing lodge. Peering in, he saw that everything inside was black with sharpie scribbles. He read a few of the closest ones. 'Tod slept with Briana everyone', 'FREDERIC KILLED HENRY AND ATE HIS KIDNEYS!!', 'Gary made a porn video with Erin.' There was all sorts of gossip on these walls. Raiko remembered hearing about this place. He'd never thought there was really this much written here.
Looking around, he noticed that there was some one in the building. He was standing right next to the window about 2 feet from where Raiko stood, scratching something onto, or off of, the wall with a small dagger. He apparently hadn't notice him, as he continued to just scratch away. Raiko decided to simply open the window and say "Hey."

Licander felt a satisfaction at removing every last trace of the word 'Killer'. He even removed the exclamation marks. All that remained of what used to be the word identifying his purpose at Anslema was a bunch of deep scratches. He was just beginning to scratch out the word "Fag" when he caught the scent of cat. Before he could acknowledge the meow that sounded from on the floor, the window opened and someone said "Hey,"
Stepping back, Licander looked at the cat he recognized as his roommate, V, and at another guy he didn't recognize at all. Why were they both suddenly here? Was this an ambush?
Licander got a hold of his composure with lightning speed, and just stared at the two. This couldn't be an ambush - it was too sloppy. Li could only assume he had been a tad jumpy because of what he had just finished carving out of the fishing lodge's wall. He regarded the duo cooly, before asking, "...What do you guys want?" Not exactly the best greeting, but he wasn't fond of V, and he didn't know the other guy, so he wasn't inclined to be kind in the least.

Vincent didn’t realize he had a follower when he started on his walk until the window creaked open with a loud, rustic sound. He jumped on the window ceil and arched his back as he hissed at the new person. His eyes were a deep red with pupils now just thin slits. Vincent somehow was even able to alter his teeth to make them appear longer, sharp, and jagged. “how did I not realize someone followed me here! Is a cat that big of a deal to see in the woods!” he grumbled in his mind. He wanted to jump at him, but at the same time knew better then to attack someone out of the blue. He slowly started to relax his body to the point that his fur lay flat on his body. He was still hissing at him as he locked eyes with him. He withdrew himself from the window when he heard Licander regard both him and the boy who followed him with such rudeness. His eyes turned gray with hurt as he walked forward to rub his body along his roommate’s ankles, his deep purple ribbon of his neck starting to become crooked.

Raiko couldn't quite say he didn't expect the cat to react this way. Seeing as how it had come to anslema as though it belonged here, he figured it was might not be a normal house cat, and could easily be a cat demon. The egos of both a cat and a human in the same being could lead to some violent reactions to things not going their way. Despite expecting it, Raiko still found himself recoiling a bit when the cat jumped onto the window sill. Maybe it was just the way this cat was baring its teeth at him and arching its back, but he suddenly felt afraid of cats.
Looking at the cat, however, he noticed that its eyes suddenly turned from blue to a violent shade of red. that was all Raiko needed to confirm his suspicions. The eyes of a cat remain the same color for its entire life, and yet this one's had just shifted almost instantly. There was no doubt about it, this was most definitely a cat demon. This intrigued Raiko, so he moved closer, now less afraid of the cat demon. It was odd, most cat demons were wild cats, but this one appeared to be a common house cat. 'Perhaps this cat demon is defective in some way...' he thought, with a skeptical look on his face. He stared blankly at its eyes.
The words of the guy who'd been scratching on the wall were enough to bring Raiko back to earth. "...What do you guys want?" Hearing this, Raiko looked up at him and said "Hey, don't lump me in with this cat demon, I've never even met him before," assuming the cat demon was a guy. "I don't know about him, but I just came here because I'd never seen the place before." Thinking he came across a bit too defensive, he looked up at the ceiling and made an attempt at some conversation. "I just think its stupid for people to waste so much of effort just to spread a bunch of rumors." He said, and waited for a reply.

Licander is great at being fake.
His profession requires him to make acquaintances with people he knows he'll have to kill within the hour, within the day, within the week, within the year. He play the friend with someone for years, then kill them without batting an eyelash. It makes him extremely untrustworthy, though most don't even know they need to be cautious of him. Knowing how to be fake with people has made him learn how to control his temper, how to be friendly, and how to know what emotions to wear given any situation.
Like right now.
Licander eyebrows twitched into a slight frown at the sudden hostility of V to the random gray haired guy, but he altered his expression to an 'I don't care' kinda look. He tried to keep this expression as V jumped from the ledge and proceeded to rub himself against Li's ankles. He knew this was usual cat behaviour, but he couldn't help but stiffen. He really didn't like cats.
"Hey, don't lump me in with this cat demon, I've never even met him before," said the guy at the window. Licander briefly wondered why he was talking to him through the window and wasn't inside talking to him instead. He then almost immediately settled on the thought that he should be happy the guy isn't inside talking to him. He much preferred the glass blockade between them. Not like it's much, but it makes a little difference. The guy continued. "I don't know about him, but I just came here because I'd never seen the place before." So that explained his sudden arrival.
"I just think its stupid for people to waste so much of effort just to spread a bunch of rumors." The corner of Licander's lip lifted into a smirk. Now that he agreed with. He thought it all these rumours were useless too. His eyes flickered to what was written about him, and he decided it didn't matter. Remembering the small dagger he was holding upside down in his hand so the blade was flat against the inside of his wrist, he slid it into his sleeve to conceal it better. It probably wouldn't look good if they saw it.
"I agree with you completely." Licander looked down at V and stepped away like he had stepped in mud and wasn't pleased with the brown on his shoes. He was able to tolerate V in his human form, but he wasn't crazy about him in his cat one. He just... didn't like cat's in general. He figured this distaste for them came from his lycan half...

Vincent had fallen over when Licander had stepped away from him. He held a look of slight hurt in his now light purple eyes. He walked away some with his head hung low. He jumped up on the window ceil once more and looked at the boy with bright purple eyes. He tilted his head to side some as he looked at him, waiting for the boy to pet him. He started to meow once more at someone, but it was sweet and not hostel. ”what does a cat have to do around here for a decent ear scratch or to be picked up!” he roared in his own mind. His patience was starting to fade as his long tail flicked to and fro. His meows started to sound like begs as he kneaded his paws once more. He suddenly had an idea that may just work at getting the boy’s attention. He gave a begging mew before jumping playfully at the boy’s shoulder. He almost toppled over, but was able to keep his balance. He quickly jumped down from his shoulder and started to rub his sides against the boy’s ankles. He continued to meow for some decent attention.

As Licander stared at V trying so desperately to receive some attention from the dude in the window, he couldn't help but wonder just how weird it would be to get stroked by a random guy. Did V not think of it that way? Or was he running on almost pure animal instincts while in his cat form? Licander just could not imagine himself bounding up to someone in his wolf form and trying to have someone run their hand down his spine.
Kinda freaked him out, actually.
Not knowing what the guy with silver hair thought of the situation, but whatever was running through his mind, Licander decided to say, "V, back off, you don't want some random guy petting you. Who knows where his hands have been." At his words, his eyes flicked to the guys' hands, as if he could see what amount of bacteria could possibly be on them. His yellow eyes then raised and met the other boy's, speculation written on his face. "Who are you, anyway?" he asked, his tone not friendly nor aggressive. Licander shifted his weight to his other foot, the one a little further from the window, and folded his arms casually.
