I originally lived in Greece but later on lived in Bulgaria..I know Latin and Bulgarian also but I like to speak in my native tongue Licander nodded. Greece. He'd always wanted to go to Greece. He'd had the opportunity to go once, but didn't take it, as he could either go to Greece or take on this mission to wipe out Anslema. Naturally, if he didn't want to lose his "job", he chose the mission. Now, just imagine... he could've been on a cruise ship on his way to Greece right now, but here he was, with all these people to kill off. Such a task... vair vair pathetico.
He noticed how her smile faded a little as she seemed to be thinking about something. ...What's wrong...? he asked, looking at her questioningly. She had such a cute little smile. Why'd it go so suddenly?

...What's wrong...?
Those words seemed to snap her out of her thought. She looked back at him and then looked down a little bit. Her bangs covering her eyes. "I just remembered something...I-I have to go..." she stammered a little. Feeling nervous, her past always seemed to scream back at her and remind her of the pain and torment she went through and the main lesson 'Don't trust anyone'
She quickly gathered up her books with out looking him in the eyes. She then gracefully walked past him and stopped. "I'm sorry..." she said her voice so gentle as she held back tears. She wasn't saying sorry about leaving but for not being able to get closer to him. She wanted to spill it out to him but she couldn't. She could never trust anyone again. She had to learn from her mistake and live on with the memory of the death off all her friends and her twin sister. She then walked on without saying a word. Besides who would want to a sociate with a terrible person like herself.

I just remembered something...I-I have to go... she replied, bangs covering her brown eyes from view. Licander frowned. Was it something he said? He watched her as she gathered her things and started to take her leave. Why? Why was she leaving? She walked with noticeable grace, and stopped by him, before saying, I'm sorry... with such gentleness seeping from her voice that Licander had never heard before.
He didn't look at her, but continued to look at his hands resting on the table, his vision defocussing as thoughts swam through his mind. He heard her footsteps, telling him that she was leaving. He hesitate, before standing up and turned around, and followed after her, leaving 'his book' behind.
Delilah, He took her wrist gently then swerved himself in front of her. He could tell there were tears she was holding back. Why was she crying? It's okay to cry, Tears eliminated the possibility that she actually had to go somewhere. So what was wrong?

Delilah,
Him saying her name shook through her body. Then a gentle touch grabbed her arm and soon she was facing him. She looked at him her eyes watering up. She still carried some of her books but some fell from her grasp when his voice reached her ears.
It's okay to cry,
Her ears pinned back as she felt the tears come down on command. Why? Why did he..., Why did he want to be near her? So many questions raced through her mind but she still held back. She couldn't let herself trust anyone. She didn't want to hurt herself more then she already was. She looked at him and hugged him and just let it all fall down.
She didn't want to be alone. She had to be alone. Though what would she do if someone wanted to be with her?
She pulled away from him gently and rubbed her sore eyes. "I'm sorry Licander... I just...I just can't..trust anyone...I guess I'm scared...that the past might repeat" it kind of shocked her of how much she said. She was hinting away at her past. She knew she wasn't supposed to look back on the past but it just kept coming back at her.

//Awwe, I love Delilah. She's so adorable ♥//
There was no mistaking that something was wrong after the moisture collected in her eyes started streaking down her cheeks. She just looked so sad. Like a lost puppy. That's crying. Somehow. And then she hugged him. He wasn't quite expecting it, to say the least. But he didn't back away or anything. Surprisingly. He could smell traces of canine on her. Sort of like himself. His golden eyes glances to the back of her head, and saw ears. Fuzzy ones. Dire wolf, perhaps? But then he caught a glimpse of something else. It sort of looked like a... a barcode?
Before he could confirm, or even hug her back for that matter, she pulled away, rubbing her eyes. Aweee..... I'm sorry Licander... I just...I just can't..trust anyone...I guess I'm scared...that the past might repeat. So all he knew at this point was that this girl has a sucky past, and that she was unwanted or something. He pursed his lips.
...If you keep on letting the past keep you from others, you'll never move forward. Just let it go... Well wasn't he all nice and supportive? It was a little off from his 'ah well, I'm just going to end up killing 'em anyway...' persona. But there was something about her...
Look, A faint whisper caught his sensitive ears, and immediately he looked past Delilah, off to the left. There were a few people sitting 'round a table, all looking in him and Delilah's direction. Kodak moment much? A couple snickers. Licander shot them a glare. The bastards. He looked to Delilah, the glare replaced with whatever expression he had on before-hand, then he bent down an picked up the books she'd dropped.
Let's go... people are looking at us like we're labeled 'Exhibit A' or something... he said, standing up, holding the books she'd dropped in an arm.

...If you keep on letting the past keep you from others, you'll never move forward. Just let it go...
Delilah looked at him. She had so many mixed feelings she knew that she had to let it go she wanted to let it go but she couldn't do that like it never happened she had to live with her past forever and she was not going to ever forget about her mistake no she was going to learn from it so it would never happen again. Before she could answer him she caught notice of other people she felt her body grow stiff with a deer in the headlights look. Her ears caught their voices.
Look, Kodak moment much?
Then his voice snapped her out of her nervousness and set her to relax mode just with him speaking.
Let's go... people are looking at us like we're labeled 'Exhibit A' or something...
She then noticed he had her books. She just nodded it seemed the words were stuck in her mouth. Wow she hadn't realized how much she spoke that day. Why did he affect her like this usually she never spoke a word.

He gave her a smirk in reply to her nod, then asked, How about we go outside? It was empty and spacious out there, and becides it seemed like she could use a little fresh air.
//It's short. It sucks. I was going to have him take her wrist and just start going, but then that would be powerplaying in a way, assuming she was walking too. Or if not, then he'd be dragging Delilah down the hallway. Not fun. :3//

How about we go outside? Delilah nodded again and fallowed him outside. She felt overwhelmed with so many emotions it made her stomach twist and turn. Her creamy white tail twitched as she heard others speak softly to each other though she could still hear them. She couldn't even speak her shyness overwhelmed her even though she wanted to say something to him. Just anything for him to say something back at her and speak to her like she was a regular person to make her believe for one second everything was ok. Though her mouth was shut tight like there was tape on them. Just because there were other people around her. People who could hurt her to make themselves feel better but why. Why didn't her mind automatically put him in the same catagory? Usually she trusted no one but why him. Why did she feel so calm around him she had never felt like this with other people before. Why? She hated that word because it buzzed in her head so many times.

Since he gathered that Delilah seemed to be a little more comfortable without a bunch of beady eyes burning holes into her, he chose to head off to a more secluded area of the... outside place. He found a nice shady spot behind an orchard, before plopping down. Almost immediately he began plucking blades of grass from the earth. How's this spot? he asked blankly, eyes on the grass.

Delilah fallowed Licander until they came to the orchard. Her muscels were tense and tight. She wanted them so badly to relax like they did when it was just him and her in her mind. She took in small breathes but still didn't say a word as they stopped. He admidiately plopped down and stared to pull up grass. So it wouldn't seem awkward Delilah sat down kind of next to him but not really far away. She just looked around and enjoyed the view but still her shyness got the best of her and she still didn't speak or small like she had. Her brick wall was up again.

||Here I'll add this Li-candy to make things stir up a little||
++++++++++++++++++++
Delilah felt her pulse thumb hard on her arms. She looked at Licander as his words echoed back in her mind.
...If you keep on letting the past keep you from others, you'll never move forward. Just let it go...
She closed her eyes and let out a soothing deep sigh. Then opened them up gently. She then reached into her back pocket and pulled out a piece of paper. It was a photo.
It was folded up a little and it was burnt on one edge of it. You could tell it was taken by an old type camera for how the image was faded. Though in the picture was Delilah and another girl who looked exactly like her. They were standing together smiling ever so gently. They looked exactly the same except the other girls hair had a straight cut and was put in pig tails unlike Delilahs was in a regular pony tail. The girl was also shorter then Delilah other then that they looked exactly the same. In the back ground of the pic was a beautiful Field of crops and a large tree behind them with two small kids behind the trees playing hide-and-go seek as a few adults worked in the fields.
She gently looked at the picture with a small smile and then offered the photo to Licander. "This was my sister..." it kind of hurt her to say was but it was the truth.
"I lived as a slave in a small village..." she began her story...
"Me and my sister...we were born in that village though to me we were never treated as slaves more like a family...We helped everyone and in return they helped us...But there was a war going on between our country and another...and we had to move from our village to a sancturay...All the men and older boys went to war only coming back in coffins...as the younger children and women stayed behind..." she stopped as she looked up at the sky "Then we were found... and everything was burnt and everyone was slain including my twin sister...she died in my arms of a gun shot wound..."
"I don't know why but the mercenaries took me as a prisoner of war and put me in a slave auction house...were i was labeled and sold like an animal..." with that she pulled up her hair and showed him her bar-code some of her scars showing a little past her shoulder blades. She dropped her hair. "I was bought by a rich family that treated me like a pet and beaten me 3 times a day sometimes more..." her eyes quivered. She felt like so much was coming off her chest but then more was piled on.
"You tell me to forget the past...I can't do it that easily when I...when I was the one that caused the past..." She placed her hands on the ground and clenched the ground hard her knuckles turning white. "I know what you might say...don't blame yourself for another persons war...the truth is I lead the mercenaries to were we were hidden so...it was all my fault for everyones death including my sisters and now I'm here because i almost killed my Mistress gardener when he was beating me with his shovel... just to figure out what to do with me until i come back...when this is all over...when I graduate...I'll have to...go back" she said showing no fear no emotion. She looked at Licander trying not to show her true feelings the truth was she was overwhelmingly scared, and sad. Though again she just stuck it in a bottle to not get hurt again.

// D= I TOTALLY FORGOT! *hugs Axel* isorryisorryisorry >< //
He noticed how she seemed to be stand-offish again. Licander took a 360 of the yard - no one was around. So what was she so wound up over? Licander laid down the blades of grass he'd pulled up into a neat little pile in front of him, before looking to Delilah. He felt like doing something completely random. He probably would have, had Delilah not pulled out a picture. He recognized her right away, but there was someone beside her, someone who looked very similar. The picture was obviously old - the edge was burnt and the photo was grainy. He was about to ask, 'is that your sister?', when Delilah answered his question, but with a little twist. This was my sister... Then he realized why she was probably so sad. Her sister had died somehow?
Then Delilah began her story. Her story that caught his breath in his throat. Throughout the whole speech, he was silent. Watching her eyes, the emotion that swam through them - emotion that she seemed to want to hide. His eyebrows furrowed as she showed him her bar code tattoo. So he did see one. He didn't know whether to think of that as an accomplishment or not.
I know what you might say...don't blame yourself for another persons war...the truth is I lead the mercenaries to were we were hidden so...it was all my fault for everyones death including my sisters and now I'm here because i almost killed my Mistress gardener when he was beating me with his shovel... just to figure out what to do with me until i come back...when this is all over...when I graduate...I'll have to...go back. Licander looked to the ground. So there was so much more to this girl than he'd thought. He looked up at Delilah, just as she looked at him. He stared into her eyes for a moment and lingered, and he could see the pain she'd been holding back. How long had she been this way? How long had she been suffering like this? Was he the first one she's been able to spill all this out to? He now understood why she kept a tight lid on her emotions. Licander leaned forward and embraced her, giving her a gentle hug. She looked like she needed a hug. What else more could he do? Hugs are nice. If everybody gave hugs, the world would be a better place. His breath caught in his throat for a fraction of a second, realizing that he wasn't sure anymore if he was making the world a better or a worse place. He began to wonder if killing off the student body here was really worth it. He hugged her a little tighter. It's amazing how one speech can begin to transform the outlook on how you live your life.

Delilah's eyes softed as she looked into Licanders deep yellow eyes then all of a sudden he embrassed her. She felt as if her bottle had crashed against the ground her eyes weilding up with tears no one has ever. No one has ever been so nice to her before. She felt her checks blister in a deep pink as he held her. She felt a few tears fall down. It was ok. She felt like everything was going to be ok now that he was there. She didn't know why. Why did she feel like this?
"Thank you" she whispeared to him with such gentleness it caught her a little off guard "You don't know...how much this means to me..." she said as she felt her whole body relaxing. She looked at him "Licander...I...I would like to take your offer and go out" she said. She was willing enough to learn but even more to have someone help her. And Licander had offered for them to go out somewhere back at the library.
||He did say that didn't he if he didn't i'll be more then happy to edit it xDD and its ok besides i wanted to make the post more enteresting||

Thank you, said Delilah, her voice no more than a whisper. Licander wondered how much this meant to her, and apparently it was a lot. Which was good - he wasn't a hugging kinda person in the least bit. It takes a lot for him to react like that. Delilah continued. You don't know...how much this means to me... Shveet. So he was right. Her body seemed to lose its tense-ness, and she was feeling more relaxed. It was something with the way her muscles went all loosey-goosey. She looked at Licander, and he noticed she was crying. His first reaction was something like, 'Oh shit I made her cry!' then went to more of a, 'Is it really such a bad thing?' He couldn't figure out if this was a good or a bad crying session.
Licander...I...I would like to take your offer and go out. Wow. Licander tried to replay all the events that happened since he met her in the Library. Did he ask her out? He couldn't remember if he did or not, but there was a nagging part in the back of his mind saying he did. Who knows. Maybe he said something that sounded like he was asking her out?
Shveet. he replied bluntly. And then he caught a hold of himself. Damn damn damn. Why did he say that? ...Why wouldn't he have said that? He knew that he shouldn't get any closer to her than he already was, because then it would make killing her that much more difficult. His missions were always rather easy, given that he never knew any of them, but he's never been faced with killing someone he's close to.
Hold up - is he starting to feel close to someone? To Delilah?

Shveet
Delilah looked at Licander she gave a small smile the same one in the library but it was different he brown eyes shined a little bit instead of the usual cloudedness. She looked up at the sky the cool wind played with her long black hair. It was so nice and peaceful. She looked at Licander she really wanted to know more about him. She really wanted to get close to him though she was a little scared. Why was she falling for him unlike any others. Why did she feel so safe?
She gave a weak uncertain smile. Is this the right thing to do. It wasn't to late to back off. Go back and just get through with this dumb school and go back to her life before since it was the only thing she knew. Maybe she didn't deserve this. She pondered on this things and was about to say something when her nose caught something. It was Nyt her white bengel tiger. She looked around for him when out stealthy out of the bushes the large tiger came up behind Delilah and rubbed his head against her back. She gave a small smile "Hey Nyt!" she said stroking its pure white fur. "Oh hey Licander this is my pet Nyt..." Nyt's blue eyes shot at Licander in a dominate manner and the large tiger plopped himself inbetween Licander and Delilah in a way saying 'back off mine' she noticed it and looked at Nyt "Nyt don't be like that...sorry about that he's real protective over me i mean me and my sister did raise him from a cub...stubborn butt" she said shaking his head and speaking a little bit to him in Latin. He lowered his head as she scolded him in Latin and gave a purring growl as if saying 'I know...' like a small child to a mother.
